Background
Bangladesh is one of the high TB-prevalent countries in the world and TB is still a major public health problem in the country. A large number of DR (Drug Resistant) TB patients are now being discharged after a short stay in hospital. At the community level, these patients continue their treatment under the supervision of community DOT (Directly Observed Treatment) providers. To assist in the record-keeping and insight generation regarding the DOT (Directly Observed Treatment) processes of DOT providers, mPower has proposed to develop a robust and secure DOT Monitoring platform.
